of males or females out of the total number of people who receive Federally
administered SSI in a particular category, divide the number of males or females
who receive Federally administered SSI who are in a particular category
by the total number of people who receive Federally administered
SSI who are in the same category and multiply the result by 100. Example:
Calculate the percent of males who receiveFederally administered
SSI who are in the aged category out of the total number of people
who receiveFederally administered SSI who are in the
aged category. This calculation would be: 374,471/1,289,339=.290 and .290x100=29.0%
