Note: To calculate the percent of people in a certain state who
receive federally administered SSI who are in a particular age group
out of the total number of people in the state who receive federally
administered SSI, divide the number of people in the state who receive
federally administered SSI in a particular age group by the total
number of people in the state who receive federally administered SSI.
Example: Out of the total number of people in Washington who received
federally administered SSI, calculate the percent who received
federally administered SSI in the under 18 age group. This calculation
would be 11,244/100,761=.112 and .112x100=11.2%
