Note: "Combined" Vocational Rehabilitation agencies refer to agencies serving individuals with all types of disabilities in the state, including those with visual impairments. "General" Vocational Rehabilitation agencies refer to agencies serving all individuals with disabilities except those who are blind or visually impaired.
To calculate the percent of people by state who
achieved a competitive employment outcome, divide the number of people who
achieved a competitive employment outcome after IPE by the total employment
outcomes after IPE in the state and multiply the result by 100. Example: Calculate
the percent of people in Alabama who achieved a competitive employment outcome
after IPE. This calculation would be:
7,006/7,687=.9114 and .9114x100=91.14%
