Note: "Combined"
Vocational Rehabilitation agencies refer to agencies serving individuals
with all types of disabilities in the state, including those with visual
impairments. "General" Vocational Rehabilitation agencies refer
to agencies serving all individuals with disabilities except those who are
blind or visually impaired.
To calculate the percent of people by state who achieved a competitive employment
outcome whose own income was their primary source of support at VR closure,
divide the number of people in a particular state whose own income was their
primary source of support at VR closure by the total competitive employment
outcomes in the state and multiply the result by 100. Example: Calculate
the percent of people in Vermont whose own income was their primary source
of support at VR closure. This calculation would be: 698/1,043=.6692 and
.6692x100=66.92%
