"General" Vocational Rehabilitation agencies refer to agencies serving all individuals with disabilities except those who are blind or visually impaired.

To calculate the percent of people by state who achieved a competitive employment outcome whose own income was their primary source of support at VR closure, divide the number of people in a particular state whose own income was their primary source of support at VR closure by the total competitive employment outcomes in the state and multiply the result by 100. Example: Calculate the percent of people in Vermont whose own income was their primary source of support at VR closure. This calculation would be: 698/1,043=.6692 and .6692x100=66.92%
